• The Poverty Site (pre-2011) monitored 100 statistics related to UK poverty and social exclusion

• The ONS collect a variety of health-related data, including mental, physical, and child health, as well as data on the health care system and lifestyle factors
• The World Health Organization's data platform is a good place to look for global health data, including statistics and aggregate health indicators 
• What Works Centre for Wellbeing provides resources related to the concept of wellbeing. They provide a question bank and a step-by-step guide for constructing wellbeing surveys

Crime, Conflict, and Policing

Statistics and data relating to crime and policing.

• A wide variety of data on police and policing is available at Data.police.uk

• Ministry of Justice statistics on criminal and civil justice systems and policy
• Data Skeptic podcast episode on predictive policing with links to critical policing organisations and data
• Invisible Institute's Citizens Police Data Project provides an interactive tool, datasets, and visualisations of police encounters with the public
• Campaign Zero is not a statistical database, but provides a collection of quantitative critical policing studies resources
• Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED) is the most widely-used data source on political conflict and protest. Their dashboard is available here

Media and Communications

Data relating to communications and media use in the UK. 

• Office of Communications (OFCOM) provides open-access data on broadband, home phone and mobile services, TV and radio, as well as child and adult media literacy data
• Broadcasters' Audience Research Board (BARB) commissions UK television audience surveys and provides reports on findings
