Many organisations produce their own quantitative data in order to improve public understanding of social phenomena, research, and policies:
- Human Rights Data Analysis Group conducts global, project-based investigations into human rights violations
- Violence and Society Centre is based at City, University of London, and conducts research into the wide-reaching impacts of violence
- Poverty and Social Exclusion is an extension of the extensive 2014 Poverty and Social Exclusion research project that has since expanded its scope to include studies of poverty taking place globally
- Joseph Rowntree Foundation works to solve poverty through various social change projects
- Full Fact is a team of fact checkers who challenge disinformation in public life
- NIKK--Nordic Information on Gender conducts research on gender equality from a Nordic perspective
- Resolution Foundation aims to influence policy to improve living standards across low- to middle-incomes
- The Social Research Association publishes Research Matters, a quarterly e-publication on social research best practice and research about research
- Migration Matters research and produce informative short courses on migration. The YouTube series 'Introduction to Migration 101' provides an overview of migration-related issues
