- Professor Andy Field has an extensive catalogue of statistics tutorials on his blog. He also manages a YouTube site featuring his how-to videos and lectures
- Dr Graham Gibbs has created a series of Youtube videos on social research methods and design
- UK Data Service provides a wide range of video resources, from webinars to tutorials
- The visualisation software, Tableau have instructional videos as well as a huge amount of data on their website

- The Data Literacy Project has created micro courses (from 15min-1hr) designed to improve data skills
- Coursera offer free online courses, including this one-week Managing Data Analysis module
- An Introduction to Secondary Data Analysis using SPSS on the Sage website
- Open Learn at The Open University have a free introduction to SPSS course as well as articles and audiovisual resources
- University of Bristol's Centre for Multilevel Modelling online course starts with basic statistics and ends with multilevel modelling of continuous and binary data
- Future Learn offer courses on a wide range of topics, from data analysis and visualisation to demystifying statistics
